on sep 12th, president cai xiyou came to shenyang research institute of chemical industry, subsidiary of sinochem group, to visit the scientific and technical workers and survey the scientific research, mechanism reform and market development. li bin, sinochem group’s vice president, and syrici’s leading group also joined in the survey.
in the morning of 12th, president cai visited the laboratories of pesticide institute, chemical advanced material institute, design engineering co., ltd, biotechnology laboratory and testing evaluation center. during the visit, he knew the situation of the scientific research management and greeted the front-line scientific researchers. after listening to the leader’s reports, president cai gave sufficient affirmation to the syrici’s contribution to the national chemical industry development and the achieved performance. he pointed out that syrici was the earliest chemical scientific research institution of new china, which over the last 60 years played an important role in the chemical industry development. under the support of sinochem from april 2007, the syrici has been playing a positive role in the chemical plate.
aiming at the scientific research management, president cai put forward specific requirements for making great efforts to the scientific research, production and management. first, we have to know sufficiently the significance of the scientific work in the comprehensively deepen reforms and the important mission carried by our researchers for the sinochem’s development. second, we have to do our best to finish every scientific research and production task. he emphasized the annual budget, the annual scientific research planned projects and enterprise operation. third, we have to give play to the supporting role of sci-tech innovation platform to sinochem group. fourth, we have to deepen the reform of scientific and technological system, release the innovation. fifth, we have to strengthen the talents team building. we will take full advantage of the platform of key projects, make good use of the young researchers and train better researchers of china.
finally, president cai demanded to enhance the development quality and benefit, motivate the innovation, promote the transformation development and make newer and greater contribution to the strategy transformation and the third development.
